Could you imagine the response if a democratic president said they didn’t know if they had to uphold the Constitution?

How fast would the articles of impeachment be drawn ?

20 minutes at the most

It's 2015. President Barack Obama has accepted a "sky palace" jumbo jet from the Qatari government, which he'll own after he leaves office. "Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.

I was just told that I have to remove “climate” from the title of an ongoing grant if I want to keep it. And publications from that grant cannot include “climate” and other forbidden words. I can’t believe I’m writing this from the United States of America. #AcademicSky
Just received an email saying that it's not advisable to include the following words in future applications for research funding to the US DOT. Here we are.

Here it is. A timetable of 100 days of corruption.

Breathtaking. Heartbreaking.

We cannot let this stand.

Hi @steveboots.bsky.social
I just heard you’re a hip hop fan! You might dig this song…?

Verse 1 is about the Big Bang and how, in the vastness of the universes, failures don’t matter… so keep going.

Verse 2 is about evolution, and how we are the products of endless success, so keep going.

I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

Land of the "free"...
There is a real, genuine 1st Amendment crisis in the United States right now.

The government is openly retaliating against anyone with a viewpoint it doesn't like: Pro-Palestinian protesters, law schools teaching Black History, pro-immigration public service loan forgiveness seekers.

I’m sympathetic to the ask to differentiate between red/blue states re: products. But let me ask you this. If US troops are mobilized to the border, will blue states mobilize state resources to block them? If the answer is no, then you can’t expect Canadians to offer differential preference

THIS IS HUGE! Researchers at Stanford University have developed a dual-antibody treatment that remains effective against ALL SARS-CoV-2 variants by targeting a less-mutable part of the virus. This breakthrough could lead to longer-lasting therapies that OUTPACE viral evolution. 🧪🧵⬇️
