I’m loving the Poppy War trilogy. The Dragon Republic was even better than the first book and the last 200 pages had me hooked with a twist that made me audibly gasp. I’m now 150 pages into The Burning God and realized I forgot to read the Drowning Faith novella. So now I need to back up. 😳 #booksky

I’m loving the Poppy War trilogy. The Dragon Republic was even better than the first book and the last 200 pages had me hooked with a twist that made me audibly gasp. I’m now 150 pages into The Burning God and realized I forgot to read the Drowning Faith novella. So now I need to back up. 😳 #booksky
My 3rd 5 ⭐️ read of this year. Incredibly educational, inspiring, and engaging. Authors acknowledgements always get me teary eyed but this one had me full on crying. Her gratitude for many that helped this book was beautiful and her love for her husband I felt so deeply. #booksky #readingcommunity

Bell hooks is one of my fav nonfiction authors. Her teachings always make me think more critically.
