UPDATE: i have figured out it turns on more reliably when i hold it upside down. i am going to rip the power port off of the motherboard with a heat gun
i’m trying to fix a cheap thinkpad with questionable history i was so shit out of luck that i tried lenovo’s AI in hopes i’d link me the human support page instead of the fuck your out of warranty laptop page and after telling me to rephrase my question 20 times it sent me the most humiliating shit

seeing a lot of people singing the praises of duck duck go for being a better search engine cause it’s got no AI and no ads but it’s had both for a while now, and so has firefox. i hate it too but why is this only making headlines NOW
