Firestorm update: Circle of Fire ended well. We are now into the JLA run where he's been tapped as part of the JLA's replacements while they're stuck 3000 years in the past.
It appears to be picking up with him back at college, largely ignoring...uh, basically all of Extreme Justice's writing.

Firestorm update: Circle of Fire ended well. We are now into the JLA run where he's been tapped as part of the JLA's replacements while they're stuck 3000 years in the past.

Firestorm update: his role in Day of Judgment was relatively minor but set up some fun stuff with him having to learn chemistry now that he doesn't have Stein in his head, and that's playing nicely in Circle of Fire. GL/Firestorm in particular is a really fun little issue for a wild goose chase.

so the good news is Extreme Justice stopped being 75% fights and that's significantly better for its legibility and quality
the bad news is parts of it are still made of piss, i am told this yellow is probably the result of early digital coloring techniques that the colorist wasn't good at

The further I get into the tail end of Firestorm, the more convinced I am that the full elemental was a mistake, and it sucks that Ronnie and Mikhail are just...kinda gone.

i do not think i've had a more surreal experience in a while than having a coworker show off a photo of his fursuit in a meeting as his halloween costume
