On the workout front, I am on my week of downtime (every 9th week). Couple days of light walking for 45-60 minutes (heart rate under 99 bpm) and a couple days just chilling. I’ll start back up on Sunday with light squats.

I know a post a lot about NFL wagers but it is VERY small $ and just for fun. It is like drinking- there are many people that can do it responsibly but many that can’t touch booze. I bet very small money, never chase losses, & keep to my budget. If you can’t do those things, you can’t gamble.

Good first week in my new executive role. Workouts this week not the greatest and I may need my couple days break a bit earlier than normal. Limited video game time but at least I got the hot tub drained and refilled yesterday.

Been a bit since I posted. Busy with the new promotion. As expected moving into the executive ranks is turning my calendar into a meeting fest.
Workouts are going decent but I really need to switch some things up. Diablo4 season 10 proceeds apace (Rouge Dancing Knives build).

Work travel - it’s been productive but LONG. Fortunately there is a gym attached to my hotel so I’ve not missed any training. Fly back home tomorrow and suspect Saturday to be a hold down couch day (especially with some PoE2 on the PS5).

Saw Joan Jett and Billy Idol last night at Red Rocks amphitheater in Morrison, CO. Joan Jett KILLED it and her songs are just so, so foundational. Good times. Idol was solid but I was mainly there for Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. I love rock n roll …

First squat workout in several weeks due to circumstances (first a focus on deadlifts for a meet up in Denver, then my off week, then a pulled muscle in my back). Workings sets of 275x5 / 315x5 / 350x5 so not too shabby given I’m down 5-6 in bodyweight since last I squatted.

Listen I’m happy for everyone. Parsons has a legit SB chance with Green Bay (which he was never gonna have in Dallas). Dallas gets two first rounds picks as draft capital for the impending rebuild (although I would’ve liked an additional lower pick as well). This was really the only move.
