At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…

Telling.

This is bonkers!

A coal company resistant to public scrutiny complained to the minister of energy that scrutiny delayed their work…

And the AER CEO just cancelled the public hearing.

Absolutely not acceptable. Minister Loewen lied and lied again, and now we have proof.
Loewen defended cougar hunting expansion, saying decision was science based. FOIP documents prove decision wasn't supported w/ #science or thorough stakeholder #consultation.

So, this Minister lied:

❌in the House
❌to my direct questions
❌to Albertans

Email him & ask why: fp.minister@gov.ab.ca

The UCP is opening the door back up to coal mining on the Eastern Slopes, while ignoring the concerns of farmers, ranchers and residents.

These Albertans want to protect Alberta's number one resource: clean water.

A plastic bag drying rack I made out of some cherry scrap. The dowels can be assembled into holes in the base for storage. The knobs are 1” diameter and were purchased at Lee Valley but they have since been discontinued. The last photo is the drilling pattern for the base.

Today we heard that Canadians are "killing Americans" and should drop the rhetoric. Trump referred to us as the "greatest state" and Mullen said that tariffs create "free and open markets." Lutnick said that we Canadians have "been leaning on the US economy."

Idiots.

I'll just leave this here:

My first time making cinnamon buns. Not quite as good as Freson Brothers, but still good.
I didn’t have any milk for the glaze so I used sour cream (not sawdust ;)

So ironic that Canadian scientists were in this same spot during the Harper years. Canadians forget the damage Harper did to science in Canada and how many fled to seek jobs is more sane countries. Some fled to the US. Conservative and GOP rule is not good for science. When will we learn this?
