Big shout out to the Kemp Mill family who brought it to my attention. They have a child with a disability who couldn’t connect to the trail from his home due to the lack of paved trail; he uses a wheelchair.

Today I am yet again reminded of the urgent need to make it easier to build homes in California so that vulnerable people can actually afford to live in a state that protects them. What good are our vaunted protections if they come with an exorbitant price tag?
