In this season of gratitude & time of great need, please join me in supporting our fellow community members by dropping off turkeys between eight A.M. and 11 A.M. today at Harvest Intercontinental Church (16227 Batchellors Forest Rd Olney) for distribution to our mid-county neighbors. See you there!

Many years ago I had the honor of saving the life of someone I love by donating blood to them so I jumped at the chance to help again today. You too can save a life by donating to the Red Cross. Find a blood drive by visiting www.redcrossblood.org.

The court didn’t rule on the merits. They found a procedural error and sent it back down to the lower court so the proper parties may be added.

Over the past 24 hours, I’ve received hundreds of emails regarding statements made in reference to recent tragic events in the local Jewish community. MCPS is also aware of these statements. Thank you for reaching out and please feel free to continue to do so.

I can’t imagine the pain the Jewish community is feeling after the deaths of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. I know many in Montgomery County knew the young couple whose work focused on peace building. My heart goes out to their families and the entire Jewish community.
