Do I *need* a signed first edition of a book I read and loved, but haven’t read in 15 years and have no idea if it holds up as I was a different person back then and I fundamentally wonder if I would still love it if I re-read it today? It’s like 30 bucks.

I couldn’t. I just couldn’t. Look, I’m 98% certain I’m not qualified (let them weed me out). But having to write 5 short essays, one on how I would advance the President’s Executive Orders & policy priorities, while govt is shutdown & more layoffs at revered depts, why would I apply?

The movers I hired gave me little tasks to do and I realized it was to keep me out of their way, like when a child tries to help.
