Even if Democrats were trying to give illegal immigrants free healthcare, which they're not, that would still be a better use of our money than giving Elon Musk yet another tax break.

6 more hours until shutdown. We will likely soon be getting a vote on the clean CR (no anti trans provisions in it), which is expected to fail, and then we are officially in a government shutdown.

At a time when fascists are forcing their twisted sense of order on us, the embodiment of chaos is on our side, and that’s wonderful.
I figured out I was trans when I was about 10, but the rampant homophobia (and by extension transphobia) of the 90s and 2000s scared me into trying to force myself to be cis until I was 25, when I just couldn’t take it anymore. My only regret about transitioning is not doing it sooner.
Why do we expect trans folks to know that they were trans at the youngest possible ages--4 or 5 or even younger--when we know so many of us take so much longer to figure it out? It's time to talk about The Story, as Stained Glass Woman returns with a mega-sized, 5,000-word article!

Political violence deserves no celebration, but neither does a man who dedicated his life to normalizing hatred and violence. Charlie Kirk deserves no memorial beyond being a victim of the same gun-obsessed culture he helped spread.
