I'm not sure why so many politicians are determined to have me as an enemy. It's been a long time coming but in 2026, they'll get their wish.

A true win for all.

The excitement of the election and the chair nominations has overshadowed the fact that we still have work to accomplish.

Here is what we are going to evaluate this week:

There have been so many Mary Kuhn moments in that she really was one of our greatest assets on the left. For sure I miss her council, but the situation I'm in currently is probably avoided, and we're in much better position if she were alive to advocate for us.

We can afford clean water, safe housing, and good schools. What we can’t afford is greed disguised as fiscal responsibility.

So that is where I am at right now: navigating budget season, working with candidates I believe in, and still finding ways to enjoy life here in Syracuse. Government, politics, and personal life do not exist in silos.

As someone active in both NYC-DSA and NY WFP, I can affirm: both are essential to the Left's success.

NYC-DSA consistently cultivates the NYC Left's strongest primary campaigns and advances a clear vision for socialism.

NY WFP coheres the progressive Left ecosystem to make socialist wins possible.
Back when Eric Adams just a racist corrupt cop mayor, i took the advice of guys like Greg and @bdlimm.bsky.social and joined WFP to work on ousting him. I firmly believe the D.R.E.A.M. play the WFP ran in the primary was how we got Zohran.
If you’re in NY, you absolutely should follow and join the efforts of the @nywfp.bsky.social. They are ACTIVE and ON THE BALL and a big part (along with many other parts) of how Mamdani won.

He's far too humble to say this, but I think people should know:

The successful, historic effort to flip the Onondaga County Legislature for the first time in nearly five decades was led by @mobreezy213.bsky.social!

We are so blessed to have him building progressive governing power in Central NY.

I asked what decibel baseline we are using, how compliance will be verified, and where wetlands will be mitigated. These answers should be in writing for the public to see.
