Federal surveillance of a city under siege.
No transponders.
Federal surveillance aircraft seen today circling high over south Minneapolis with no transponder running:
- Known DHS helicopter N893N - midday
- Known FBI plane N188SS - evening

This report brought to you by a guy who wouldn't have been looking if you'd just run your dang transponder, feds.

They say it’s a drawdown, but there are still massive needs here. Message me with a donation and I’ll draw a portrait of any human or animal you want. StandwithMinnesota.com

Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.
February 12, 2026 at 5:22 PM
Pretty hopeful that no one who lives here is buying the bullshit drawdown. I think most of us will keep our guards up until the streets are actually quiet. You don’t say you’re going to use a quick reaction force if you mean to be peaceful.

Homan repeatedly said that "agitators" were endangering officers here and they needed extra officers to deal with the safety concerns. Absolute horseshit. Whistles aren't violence.

As ICE expands, an AP review of crimes committed by agents shows how their powers can be abused

Yeah. Nevermind. Nothing is going to change.
He literally says in this clip that ICE will keep in Minnesota “quick reaction forces” — a military term — to go after “agitators.” Remember that those on the ground in MPLS have spent more than a week trying to tell everyone that Trump’s prior “deescalation” was a ruse and ICE is still operational
Homan: "Operation Metro Surge is ending. In the next week, we're going to deploy the officers here on detail back to their home stations or to other areas of the country where they're needed."

Always fun when a federal agency is so terrible you have to come out and say it is legitimate.
Homan: "ICE is a legitimate federal law enforcement agency. We're not out scouring the streets to disappear people or deny people their civil rights or due process."
February 12, 2026 at 4:04 PM
I have a really hard time believing is is a full drawdown
Not a single reporter asked Homan how many DHS troops would remain in the Twin Cities after the surge “ends.” Journalism is so dead

People say we can't compare this to the Third Reich because of the atrocities but we only found out about the atrocities after the fact when it was all said and done and we're not done with this yet so I am sure the worst stomach churning shit has yet to be revealed.
ICYMI: The US is currently holding three times as many people in immigrant detention as were detained in the Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939 — six years into the Third Reich, and just before the start of World War II.

More than 400 people, including hundreds of citizens, were “sorted” at gun point into racial and ethnic groups by 200 ICE agents who fired flash-bang grenades into cars with people inside, pointed guns at children & demanded their zip tied parents not comfort them. apple.news/Ausdx6kWtT0e...

I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.
