ICE isn't gone from MN.
While overall activity in the state is down - and particularly in the cities of Minneapolis and St Paul. But their still quite active in the metro area (where 80% of the 3.7M MSP metro live) and outstate areas where there are fewer eyes on them. Remain vigilant.

The day after Renee Good was killed, a woman like this was sobbing and alone as teargas, flashbangs and pepperballs went off. I went and hugged her and said it would be ok. The look on her face will never leave me. It was like 65 years of belief in this country was wiped away in a moment.

Increasingly ICE seems to be sending single cars (lots of Subarus) with one agent (some women) to sit in various neighborhood all days. There’s also a belief some may be ICE-contracted bounty hunter types. They’re not as noticeable and it’s not clear what they’re casing, but they’re really lurking.

A judge has ordered the release of an 18-year-old who was detained by federal agents in a chaotic scene inside the Hennepin County Government Center last week.
