CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

I feel guilty if I don’t find a way to help in some way every day.
I am, by all accounts, a coward, an overthinker, and a waffler, and I don’t think I’ve ever had greater moral clarity about anything ever in my life. ICE is so absolutely morally repugnant that there is no way to live wirh yourself if you do nothing.

More than anything, I think Minnesota unraveled the myth of public support for hate and cruelty. Trump has felt all encompassing for over a decade, but real people are decent and kind and care about their neighbors and their community. The divisions are inflated. Their numbers are tiny.

Apparently ICE has taken new vehicle deliveries at Whipple for the past three days. So I think we have to stay vigilant, but it’s equally plausible that ICE is so fucking incompetent that the people in charge never talked to the logistics folks who order the cars.

Multiple news outlets incorrectly reported that Wagner was charged with threatening federal agents. AP corrected their version after I inquired, but ABC, CBS and Minnesota Star Tribune STILL have wrong reporting up.
