At 41 i was a healthy competitive fencer, then covid happened ,i worked for an essential supplier and ended up with a bad case before the vax was available. It put me in hospital with a suspected heart attack and gave me type 2 diabetes,i'll be on medication for the rest of my likely shortened life

The number of school shootings that have happened at schools with police resources officers is far less than zero.
Arming teachers will do one thing. Bad teachers using guns to settle "behavior".And we all know which students will be disproportionately effected. Also unions will strike over this.

Yes most HEMA clubs are very inclusive spaces with the occasional exception . if anyone in the US is looking for an inclusive space swing swords i could help find a place its a pretty tight community
