Thinking about the time I got into a heated dialogue on Reddit, but we randomly agreed on something we both liked in the process. He goes, ‘Hey, don’t try to change the subject. Don’t forget, I’m still mad at you!’ Which I found very cute and amusing.

Although I was raised a Lutheran and independently am a believer, I’m not super Lutheran anymore. Here are a list of monks I prefer:

Often when I find myself feeling kind of bad I reflect, and one of the first questions I ask myself is did I write anything? And instantly just the idea of an open Word doc floods serotonin into my pitiful little brain as I remember, ‘Ah yes that thing I do! The thing, the thing!’

Sincerely delighted to discover, 45 minutes into this nearly-wordless three-hour documentary about French monks who take vows of silence, that among the reasons they *can* talk is "to make sure the monastery cats know when it's mealtime by making little kitty-calling noises at them."
