Two Ms, one German, one American, married, you get to figure out who is who. Nuremberg, Germany 🇩🇪 and Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA 🇺🇸 based. And, yes, Luke Skywalker has liked our posts.

We’ve gained a lot of followers from the Disney/theme park community of late, so I guess I should put out a few posts about us. I’m the American M, living most of the year in Bavaria with my wife, the German M. We first met at … DAK in 2011 and the rest is a long and tortured history. 1/…
The wife was high on pixie dust and still feeling all the tequila shots in Cabo. She meant Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.

We all know the best night parade is TDL’s Disney’s Electrical Parade: Dreamlights.

Frankly, I’d rank Starlight as my fifth favorite of all time.
Dreamlights was charming! Probably one of my top 5 Disney night time parades… (yes, I think I have seen 5 so far)

Info on floats in the alt text.

Re: the FCC saying it is investigating ABC's "The View," at most ABC might have to pay a fine, and Disney can certainly afford it.

Even the paperwork involved is minimal, "so the attorneys' fees are not huge compared, say, to a merger or antitrust matter," Schwartzman added.

Here's the 🔑 thing about the FCC and the "equal-time rule:" The agency's powers are limited. The enforcement possibilities are "minimal, in terms of real jeopardy," public interest lawyer Andrew Jay Schwartzman told me today. Thus my new headline here: www.cnn.com/2026/02/18/m...

Oh, we got called Nazis from a left wing wacko who then told us to go fuck ourselves and blocked us because we aren’t radical lefties and we supported Kamala and don’t think Gavin is a Nazi.

Copy That, my friend. GoForProduction. May an anvil fall on his head.

Slummed it last night as we needed a room for nine or ten hours. I found it perfectly acceptable beyond not paying the $37-$79 I remember.

And back in The City Beautiful. Mayor Buddy has made us feel home again.

How much would you pay for this amazing Subway meal also adding a six-inch tuna for the German (no chips or drink for her)?
February 18, 2026 at 5:18 AM
Nope. Never good when you have a late night 90 minute connection in Atlanta and your flight in Cabo has to return to gate for very unspecified reasons.

Oh, okay. I'll bite.

The right to vote is enshrined in the Constitution.

The "right" of armed federal cops to arrest, beat, and kill people with anonymity is not.
Emmer: "Another reform they claim they want is they want ICE agents to identify themselves, to show identification. But they don't want identification for voters in elections. I mean, this stuff is just intellectually inconsistent."

Complaining that following the Constitution will stop you from doing the thing you want to do is... an admission that what you want to do is unconstitutional.

You swore an oath to defend the Constitution. You are violating that oath, Rep. Alford. Time to go home and let someone else do the job.
Rep. Mark Alford: "If you tie a judicial warrant to what ICE is doing, it will never happen"

I'm sorry but the idea that any Democrat, Gavin Newsom included, would conduct Operation Metro Surge is completely deranged. It feels like you're trying to gaslight us or something.
brother, the point people are trying to make is that "get ICE out of minneapolis" is a bar that Newsom fails to clear and his boosters are actively shaming people for trying to get him to step over it

You need to stop taking the good ones.

He was very nice to me when I met him 20 years ago and, for me, that matters a lot!

Oh, God, this! A trillion times. I’ve watched the USA attempt suicide multiple times since 2015. And while we can blame the MAGA cult, there’s also a good amount of blame to the far left that doesn’t get that 75% of this country is right in the middle and that’s not changing anytime soon.
The people who need to hear Will’s advice are unfortunately the people least likely to listen because they’ve built their brands on saying anyone to the right of Sanders is a closeted Republican.
The reason people are concerned about lefties saying “I won’t vote for a moderate Dem” isn’t because they want Newsom. It’s because lefties keep not voting for moderate Dems!

I think all the scolding about it being years til the primary would hit a little harder if WE DIDN’T JUST GO THROUGH THIS

This President’s Day I want to take a moment to praise Ulysses S. Grant, who won the Civil War, destroyed the first iteration of the KKK, and, when challenged on his antisemitism, reformed to become the first President to cultivate Jewish support. He deserves way more praise than he gets.

I love when the bloggers and personalities (does Len Testa qualify?) find a scrap of truth and then get the tale so wrong.

Oh, are you saying the far left whack job echo chamber might not be as evil as the Nazi one on Twitter, but is still batshit? Cause I think that’s what you are saying and … it’s true.
This site is an absolute loony bin and I can see it cooking the brains of people I know IRL

Second bad Disney news tale to drop today while we’re attempting to relax in Cabo: the Euro Disney Shareholders Club has invited us to an exclusive preview next month of the soon to be rebranded Disney Adventure World. Unfortunately, as with every other special invite over a decade, we can’t go.
