That refereeing performance today was a disgrace! Absolutely crumbled in the face of the home crowd and didn’t have any balls to go against them for anything. So buzzing for these lads though - 60mins with 10 men and they dug in. Excellent defensive performance and great pens too

It’s not just those two decisions (no complaint about the red) but he’s officiated the two teams with wildly divergent standards of leniency
Nah, this is disgraceful from the referee. How on earth the same guy gives a penalty for that and failed to spot a foul on Fernandes from a few yards away earlier is beyond me.

Re. yesterday, it’s a feeling so many fans are going to have to get used to. Ups and downs are going to be a part of the process and Amorim needs backing throughout it. Rangnick’s “open heart surgery” comment from a couple of years ago still rings true today
