The school attendance office acknowledges our emails with emojis that never quite match the tone of our emails. Today the administrator has replied with ⛄️💨 and I know she didn’t mean to send us snowman farts but it’s delightful

Update: the shelter-in-place was lifted and no weapon was found. My daughter is home- she leaves after third period every day. She was with her paraprofessional when the announcement to shelter was announced. They were taking a quiet stroll through the hallway and had to duck into nearest classroom

My daughter’s school has a shelter-in-place right now because live ammunition was found. Anyway, I’m sure the reason today’s youth is so anxious is because of their smartphones and not anything else /s

I decided to read through the HOA meeting agenda and they are concerned about a line of trees on a property because they may constitute a fence according to the bylaws (which was not spelled correctly). We live in the woods. Now I need to drive over and see what these assholes are complaining about.
