Ask me things about Austin game development. Knows people. Austin Game Dev Beer Night, Yellow Card Services, et al.
Finally got to see this at the local Buddhist temple. The temple director and dharma master approved of my question at the end. Very silly and funny, filmed on a microbudget around Round Rock.

"Making comics is pretty solitary by its nature. You can do comics, share and publish them for all your life, and never meet anyone else. There's very few other art forms that work like that."

Video games. Video games can be like that. A lot like that. All the time. Isolating from reality itself.
A rare interview with the creators of the always-funny, always-brilliant, and *usually*-sexy—or occasionally anti-sexy—OGLAF!

Cooper has kept a low profile over the years, but is legitimately one of the very best artists in comics today. Read OGLAF if you're old enough to drive!
Talking Oglaf with Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne: 'We'd stay up all night drawing stuff to make each other laugh' - The Comics Journal
Other than some time off every year for Christmas, Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne have delivered a new Oglaf comic, skewering fantasy tropes with absolutely not safe for work humor, every week since 2008...

"But when the team looked at the employees’ actual work output, they found that the developers had completed tasks 20% slower when using AI than when working without it. Researchers were stunned. “No one expected that outcome. We didn’t even really consider a slowdown as a possibility.”

Way to go Cargill!
Holy shit, gang. This isn't the first time Scott & I have had the number one movie, but it is the first time we've done it with OUR movie and not the Marvel machine. BP1 never got higher than 4th place. This is huge for us & we owe every last bit of it to you. THANK YOU!

Caught Stealing is worth seeing, though better kept to streaming. Aronofsky did not make a wacky New York crime caper, but a lot of great actors made bit parts big. Maybe they were thinking Requiem for a Dream, not After Hours.

Picaresque works better when the main isn't a *total* shit magnet.
