ReLight is a big favourite in our team, we love to see it at work 💡

Experiment with the ambient intensity setting at the top too. It pulls down the ambient light leaving behind the lights from ReLight. It can be as subtle or dramatic as you want, but it can make a big difference to a shot!

See, I knew it was user error. I got Relight to look amazing - as expected, because it's outstanding. It's ✨JUST✨ enough to make a huge difference when it comes to lighting in screenshots. Ideal for thumbnails, etc.

About a week ago I had indicated that I’d made some decisions pertaining to the pending acquisition and my affiliation with EA. At this time, I have requested that my Creator Code be deactivated as I continue to assess my involvement in the EA Creator Network. Unfortunately, as many of you know, I have a plethora of pre-recorded and scheduled videos. These were completed and slotted for posting months in advance due to my maternity leave. Every single one promotes my Creator Code in the intro, as well as via an animated pop-up. It is impossible for me to remove all of these elements from pre-recorded videos without pulling every single one and discarding them. I simply cannot afford to do that, so please know I will be taking the time over the next few weeks to add a pinned comment to every video noting that my Creator Code is being deactivated and encouraging people NOT to use it. It the best I can do given the circumstances. Moving forward I will not be promoting newly released Sims content, but will continue to make Sims content here on YouTube with what I already own as we continue to monitor the situation in the coming months. Though YouTube is not my full-time job, I do depend on my earnings to support myself and my family in significant ways. I simply cannot afford to stop time—plain and simple. Though I’ve played a handful of games here on the channel during various livestreams, I’ve never had a strong interest in transforming my regular content to accommodate a variety of games. As I’m sure many of you are aware, the algorithm does not take too kindly to a channel trying new things. Needless to say, my audience is here for Sims. It’s extremely scary and unpredictable to pivot in any capacity, and it certainly doesn’t happen overnight. Couple this was a decrease in earnings due to a potential drop in viewership and one finds themselves in a very tough spot, one that could possibly drastically impact their livelihood. The Sims has been a safe space, my hobby, and now a job. I’m so incredibly sad to see all of this happen. I don’t like having to make these decisions but it’s important because the direction EA is going—should this acquisition go through—does not align with my values and I cannot in good conscience take no action. I feel a moral responsibility to do so. Please, extend some grace to all other creators as we attempt to navigate this. Everyone’s situation is different—the decisions that work for myself or others may not be feasible for some. I refuse to demand that others take action in the same way I am because I cannot and will not dictate how they may need to transform their lives due to a decision a giant corporation is making. All I can do—all I believe WE can do—is hope that everyone is assessing the situation and making decisions that align best with their values without dismantling their livelihoods in an irresponsible or detrimental way. For a channel the size of mine, change could tank it completely. It’s the reality of the platform. Though I hope you all will support me if I begin to dabble in other games, I would never expect it 🤍 In the meantime, things here will continue as they have, but know I’m constantly assessing and reassessing everything and will continue to keep you all informed.

I'm gonna be real with you. I don't watch Inzoi, ACNH, SV, or any other non-sims content from sims youtubers. I won't watch Paralives content either. I don't consider myself a cozy gamer or a life simulation gamer. I have zero interest in life-sims outside of The Sims. For me, The Sims is a category

I’m getting comments about me not taking action concerning the EA buyout, so here’s me addressing one of them:
I'm sorry to hear this. I'd like to address this authentically and transparently. First and foremost, I openly addressed the situation with heartfelt concern shortly after taking the time to understand what this all meant for the future of EA and The Sims; however, I needed time to assess what this meant for me, my community, and my family moving forward. I love The Sims and it's heartbreaking to think that this buyout could tarnish the relationship I have with this game. I'd like to think my community is diverse and inclusive, something I was intentional in curating because it's extremely important to me. The PIF is responsible for severe human rights violations, including many against the LGBTQIA+2 community and that is reprehensible. This directly conflicts with my values. Though I'm not a large creator, this buyout could drastically impact my finances. It's simply the truth and I need to responsibly assess what this could all mean. I suppose, whether someone feels I deserve it or not, I'm asking for some grace. Therefore, I hadn't yet made a decision about what I would be doing moving forward, and in the interim, I would continue playing and enjoying The Sims. In the past two weeks, I've made some decisions that I will be sharing shortly. No, I have not said anything since this initial post, but please don't assume this means I, or anyone else possibly in my position, am pretending as if nothing is happening. This is exceedingly important to me and I'm trying to navigate it as best I can.
