See, I knew it was user error. I got Relight to look amazing - as expected, because it's outstanding. It's ✨JUST✨ enough to make a huge difference when it comes to lighting in screenshots. Ideal for thumbnails, etc.

An update. Please read 🤍
About a week ago I had indicated that I’d made some decisions pertaining to the pending acquisition and my affiliation with EA. At this time, I have requested that my Creator Code be deactivated as I continue to assess my involvement in the EA Creator Network. Unfortunately, as many of you know, I have a plethora of pre-recorded and scheduled videos. These were completed and slotted for posting months in advance due to my maternity leave. Every single one promotes my Creator Code in the intro, as well as via an animated pop-up. It is impossible for me to remove all of these elements from pre-recorded videos without pulling every single one and discarding them. I simply cannot afford to do that, so please know I will be taking the time over the next few weeks to add a pinned comment to every video noting that my Creator Code is being deactivated and encouraging people NOT to use it. It the best I can do given the circumstances. Moving forward I will not be promoting newly released Sims content, but will continue to make Sims content here on YouTube with what I already own as we continue to monitor the situation in the coming months. Though YouTube is not my full-time job, I do depend on my earnings to support myself and my family in significant ways. I simply cannot afford to stop time—plain and simple. Though I’ve played a handful of games here on the channel during various livestreams, I’ve never had a strong interest in transforming my regular content to accommodate a variety of games. As I’m sure many of you are aware, the algorithm does not take too kindly to a channel trying new things. Needless to say, my audience is here for Sims. It’s extremely scary and unpredictable to pivot in any capacity, and it certainly doesn’t happen overnight. Couple this was a decrease in earnings due to a potential drop in viewership and one finds themselves in a very tough spot, one that could possibly drastically impact their livelihood. The Sims has been a safe space, my hobby, and now a job. I’m so incredibly sad to see all of this happen. I don’t like having to make these decisions but it’s important because the direction EA is going—should this acquisition go through—does not align with my values and I cannot in good conscience take no action. I feel a moral responsibility to do so. Please, extend some grace to all other creators as we attempt to navigate this. Everyone’s situation is different—the decisions that work for myself or others may not be feasible for some. I refuse to demand that others take action in the same way I am because I cannot and will not dictate how they may need to transform their lives due to a decision a giant corporation is making. All I can do—all I believe WE can do—is hope that everyone is assessing the situation and making decisions that align best with their values without dismantling their livelihoods in an irresponsible or detrimental way. For a channel the size of mine, change could tank it completely. It’s the reality of the platform. Though I hope you all will support me if I begin to dabble in other games, I would never expect it 🤍 In the meantime, things here will continue as they have, but know I’m constantly assessing and reassessing everything and will continue to keep you all informed.

I’m getting comments about me not taking action concerning the EA buyout, so here’s me addressing one of them:
I'm sorry to hear this. I'd like to address this authentically and transparently. First and foremost, I openly addressed the situation with heartfelt concern shortly after taking the time to understand what this all meant for the future of EA and The Sims; however, I needed time to assess what this meant for me, my community, and my family moving forward. I love The Sims and it's heartbreaking to think that this buyout could tarnish the relationship I have with this game. I'd like to think my community is diverse and inclusive, something I was intentional in curating because it's extremely important to me. The PIF is responsible for severe human rights violations, including many against the LGBTQIA+2 community and that is reprehensible. This directly conflicts with my values. Though I'm not a large creator, this buyout could drastically impact my finances. It's simply the truth and I need to responsibly assess what this could all mean. I suppose, whether someone feels I deserve it or not, I'm asking for some grace. Therefore, I hadn't yet made a decision about what I would be doing moving forward, and in the interim, I would continue playing and enjoying The Sims. In the past two weeks, I've made some decisions that I will be sharing shortly. No, I have not said anything since this initial post, but please don't assume this means I, or anyone else possibly in my position, am pretending as if nothing is happening. This is exceedingly important to me and I'm trying to navigate it as best I can.

About EA.
Today it was announced that EA is no longer a publicly traded company. It has been acquired by a group of private investors for $55 billion, which is unprecedented. This is the largest LBO in history. The PIF (Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund), Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners are the three investors that will now privately control EA. According to the Human Rights Watch, the PIF is linked to numerous human rights violations in areas like sports, entertainment, labor, etc. Affinity Partners’ capital primarily comes from sovereign wealth funds. The PIF has contributed the bulk of Affinity’s early capital base—upwards of $2 billion. Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and former Senior Advisor, founded Affinity Partners and has a close relationship with MBS (the Chairman of the PIF). Personally, I have grave concerns about this recent development. I’m particularly concerned because ownership of EA is now very much so politically connected and it could drastically influence content moderation and representation in the games EA produces moving forward. The PIF has poured billions into sports and entertainment and EA obviously has some very popular sports titles. However, for a game like The Sims, I am deeply concerned that this level of influence could dismantle some of the incredible progress we’ve seen when it comes to representation and inclusivity. Secondary to this, the acquisition is essentially a buyout that is financed by $20 billion of debt. The priority is to pay that off quickly, which means we could see a push towards more predatory DLC models and microtransactions in pending titles. It could mean budget cuts, layoffs, and reallocation of funds towards particular projects or tech (such as AI). Some argue that being privately owned means EA isn’t beholden to shareholders (especially if a title underperforms or quarterly earnings aren’t met), can make more long-term investments in projects, and take more risks when it comes to developing IPs or narrative content, but that can come with a cost since whatever they produce likely needs to be aligned with what the investors wish to contribute to; hence my initial concern of influence. All in all, this recent development has me deeply worried for the future of The Sims. I’m not sure what else to say at this time, but I wanted to share my initial thoughts because this is a BIG deal and could have a drastic impact on a game I absolutely love. Also this is just...so misleading. The items in the image (the modular playground equipment, imaginary friend, and archery targets) are exclusive to Adventure Awaits, but this alludes to them being part of the base game update. Not a fan of it.

I don't know. Cool that we have a playground venue now, but the requirement of 6 "playground equipment" objects with only base game is extremely limited. We have 3 objects that meet this criteria, but with all the packs (especially Toddler Stuff, Seasons, and City Living) you can have more #TheSims4
