Food shortages in poor communities leads to ppl engaging in survival tactics. The State frames this as senseless crime. They criminalize poor, hungry folks for trying to live. They send in troops and put folks in prisons, lining the pockets of private prison owners.

Cooking meals and donating to the shelter, as well as grocery shopping and cleaning out the pantry and donating to the food banks. If anyone else has anything they would like to contribute, let me know. I'll pick it up. Canned goods, frozen veggies anything big or small helps.
