Removing the GoA hybrid work option does nothing except provide a wealth transfer from the bank accounts of working class employees to corporations like Morguard and Impark. I simply will not accept the half assed “it’s an economic decision” when it requires we ignore the economics of actual people.

I was in a meeting recently with a man who, during the introduction bit, admitted that he didn’t have a favourite book because “I don’t really read” and after that he went on to talk about how amazing AI is. I feel like this is an established Type of Guy but I met one in the wild!

I love English, it’s the thrift store of languages - there’s stuff from all over, it’s sorted in a way that doesn’t make sense on first (or fifth) glance, there’s bits from ancient times and bits from last year in the same box, and the stock changes constantly. English is alive and well loved.
