... When in fact it is something I observed in Florida in 2010, on a walk at dusk. A great horned owl stood atop a box turtle attempting to get at the fleshy bits. Naturally, my mind couldn't at first understand what it was seeing as this is pretty unusual. So I plopped it in the novel. The end. 2/2

The one totally meaningless thing that would completely rule would be if the pope excommunicated jd Vance. Low stakes, would change nothing, but would provoke a lot of really funny reactions from people I universally hate. It would be really great. He should do it.

It is dangerously irresponsible for countries to send their people here for athletic events and I genuinely hope they do not and they just let these events crumble.

Of course it was isekai... Look, read whatever you want, but isekai is one of those genres that's so rigidly formulaic that this could not possibly be less surprising. People are attracted to it for the formula. And the quality is often...not the highest. Trust me, I have seen the sausage being made
