Okay so hear me out... A little guy and a dramatic bitch accidentally crime themselves into starting a library in a broken train car because they think they're evil masterminds on the verge of world domination...

We’re going to find out that cloudflare replaced all their devs with AI, aren’t we?

Dear apple,

No one in the world has ever intentionally typed “soldering” instead of “something.” Please stop autocorrecting to soldering what the fuck why is that your best guess???

I got like 85% through Dune but I don’t think I can do it. When he was 15 everyone washed to fuck him. Now he’s 18 with a wife and kids?

“He observed her neck. A truly lovely flowing of muscles like a young boy’s.”

I’m sorry. WHAT.

I am so damn tired but I think my city might finally get a mayor who isn’t entirely paid for by the tech bros

Kobo is doing a 30 day free trial promotion for their Kindle Unlimited competitor service Kobo Plus for new subscribers (not sure if this is US only), if you like queer indie books, small press SFF, and backlist SFF from large publishers there's a lot to choose from on this service that's not on KU!

I have spent a lot of time in small, deep red towns tucked away in the woods or on the side of a mountain. Every. Single. One. has like twelve weed shops. This is suicidally stupid.
Hidden in the moronical resolution to reopen the government: A provision that bans THC in hemp products. Hemp is a $28B/yr industry, 80% of which is based on products containing THC.

This measure will jeopardize 300,000 American jobs.
Hemp Ban Hidden Inside Government Shutdown Bill. Mitch McConnell Backed The Move | High Times
As Congress scrambles to end the shutdown, Senate leaders slipped in language that would outlaw intoxicating hemp products nationwide. The provision, backed by Mitch McConnell, could wipe out most of ...

The lack of coverage this election has gotten outside of Seattle really disappoints me. But if you’re anywhere in the city please for the love of god check your ballot. It’s easy to check and it’s easy to fix. Takes five minutes of your time.
Katie’s path to the Mayor’s office depends upon your ballot — and probably your friends’ and coworkers’, too! Track your ballot and fix any issues at the following links! Next, send these links to 10 friends and family to make sure Katie wins. #thisisyourcity

I know people who are very dedicated to the Democratic Party as an entity and this is how they talk as well. They think we can’t see the pattern here, that we can’t connect the dots between this failure and Kamala’s failure. They literally think of us as idiots who “just don’t understand politics.”
Oh @durbin.senate.gov is out on this surrender publicly and he is openly being contemptuous of the base - sounding like the coward he has always been.

Democrats genuinely believe we aren’t going to blame the whole party for this… That we can’t see the pattern… That we can’t connect the dots from Kamala to this

Imagine posting this two hours after specifically NOT fighting.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Great, cannot wait to wake up to fundraising emails with subject lines like “we’re not giving up!” asking me for $3 after completely letting us down.

I'm so glad we're talking about pity marketing. One of the things that makes me the angriest is when I see an author say "They won't let me write X because it's gay." But for EVERY BOOK THEY EVER WRITE. I feel manipulated and betrayed as a queer person myself. #booksky

It's crazy how much easier it is to write today after waking up with a crumb of hope for this god damn country...

Wow it looks like the imaginary leftist spoilers who were going to ruin zohran’s chances were, in fact, imaginary just like they are in every election. I cannot believe your local Marxist book club did not concoct an elaborate sabotage executed through Twitter posts.

Really hoping that today my city votes for the candidate who wants to keep libraries open later instead of the candidate who wants to put cops in libraries...

I swear autocorrect has gotten worse? And swiping to type? Like, these have gotten worse and it’s because of AI, right?

A poem for our times

We shall be slaves just the same?
Yes, we have always been slaves,
But you—you will die of the shame,
And then we shall dance on your graves!
