A boring thing I would highly recommend for neurodivergent, parents, and forgetful people to purchase on sale is smart outlets and power strips with timers and programs. It's helpful to be able to turn on/off an AC unit or all of my desk electronics automatically and remotely. I like the Kasa brand.
