I fucking hate that I need to post and re-post this at least annually.

Every anti-queer + anti-trans politician has blood on their hands.

We're getting ready to have this exact conversation with our writing interns tomorrow.

Yes, words have been weaponized against us. Also, those same words have contributed to us finding ourselves and each other and building communities and fighting back, too.
All of our labels have some amount of historical blood on them. If queer folks self-censored every descriptive term for ourselves that others have ever used as an insult or slur against us, we’d have no vocabulary to express our inner lives at all.

Which is exactly what bigots and fascists want.

This is one of my favorite queer texts, and the way Molly rendered it is beautiful.

So what if all the people learn how to work together and intimidate ICE and protect people going to polling places and then the Dems sweep and THEN we apply those skills to the weak Dems that just got elected to impeach Trump and make them fear us like they should. Ehhhhh???

I recommend Acme Records so highly, and it's just a block away from Lion's Tooth Books, so you can stress-purchase books and zines either before or after.

Blueberry and dark chocolate. Super underrated. Add lavender if you're feeling extra fancy.

Also, a double chocolate (choc ice cream + choc syrup) malted w/frozen blueberries is the drive-in treat that you need to try. just use a wide straw.
