I am confident that the build and the Hangman/MJF match will be great, but it is definitely time for fresh faces in the main event scene in AEW. That International title needs to be off Okada, for one thing. Hopefully the hot pushes for Brody and Andrade will continue. #AEW 🤼

Something I have thought about since posting this: at the 1st AEW press thingy in early 2019, two of the first wrestlers AEW introduced were Nyla Rose and Sonny Kiss. At the time it very much felt like a statement of intent. So to a degree AEW did understand the environment they were arriving in. 🤼
Ok, here's the thing: Dave is likely 100% correct here. It's not likely that AEW set out to be "the woke wrestling company." HOWEVER. The Overton window in this country, as we become more fascist, defines "let your roster express their authentic selves" as a "lefty" stance now, so here we are. 🤼
AEW wouldn't want this kinda eyes and coverage?! #AEW has always shown they aren't middle of the road & has shown they are more left leaning inside and outside of the ring.
