Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we remember the transgender lives lost to violence.

The Green Party stands shoulder to shoulder with transgender people in the face of increasing transphobic rhetoric in our society and politics.

There was a Save the Children report around the time of this report in 2006. I asked my Labour MP about child detention and he said it was not an issue (it was then I ruled out Labour as a choice). This has been Labour Party for last 20 years so not surprised by it now.

Less than a decade ago the UK Home Office decided Afghanistan was safe for gay asylum seekers. Offering asylum until we deem it safe for them to go back not only tells people not to integrate and set down roots but also increases the people sent back to danger.

Well cooking 3 starters for 18 across 3 sittings in a safari lunch worked well. Also at board game group decided 'Unsociable people struggle to find time to be unsociable due to too many social hobbies' could be in neurodivergent spoof news.

Very busy week this week. DnD, town twinning committee, monthly storytelling group, board games at Bennet Arms watching Bury Bach Choir and then making starters for a safari lunch and finishing with board games at Fred's Bar. Enjoying the week so far but thinking ai will sleep well Sunday night.

Despite the headline, this article pretty well gets across we are just trying to get on with our lives. I wouldn't say dragged, more just a tired / exasperated response as a host of light entertainment which features LGBTQIA+ people sometimes.

Reform UK want a direct transfer of wealth from the poorest in society to the richest. Wage cuts for the poorest workers, tax cuts for the super rich.

They really are like comic book villains at this point. May the @greenparty.org.uk be our heroes!

Both have got extra money announced recently. Pretty clear they are wanting to recruit racists.

This kickstarter is not specifically queer but in an update it does highlight a queer traditional tale from Wales. Course looks interesting to me just because I enjoy folk tales.
Hooray! We are past 50% in our campaign. Thank you, everyone!

Today Cheryl is off to Aberystwyth for the October Queer Lit Quarterly meeting. In honour of that, today's update tells the very queer story of our cover. (Content warning for sexual assault.)
