I loved Gremaud flying down the slope with her Swiss flag cape knowing she had won. I do feel sorry for all the competitors who fell trying so hard to win.

This year started with an ambulance ride to the hospital on day two. Since then I have had a heart ablation for SVTs, had a hemithyroidectomy for thyroid cancer, stayed in the hospital for 7 days with an exceedingly rare blood infection, plus innumerable tests and procedures. Let's not that in 2026.

I would suggest that no one use Google Meet. Apparently, it decided it didn't like my perfectly reliable Wifi and ran an entire conference on cell data without telling me. 3 GB of cell data, ironically, on Google Fi.
The only two times I have ever had an incident like this is with Google products.

Excellent post - and this is how I begin every discussion with a potential Lost Causer, because once you separate their Southern culture (family ties, geographic roots, etc) from the argument, you can actually have a discussion without the “I have to defend the South” walls coming up.

Excellent post - and this is how I begin every discussion with a potential Lost Causer, because once you separate their Southern culture (family ties, geographic roots, etc) from the argument, you can actually have a discussion without the “I have to defend the South” walls coming up.
I have just gone fully a tive on the transplant list. Now the waiting begins. I mean this stage of waiting. Unlike the previous waiting. This is new waiting.

I just did this and if nothing else it was cathartic. I said I would make it my life’s mission to make sure there’s a primary challenger for any D involved in this deal, it’s fucking embarrassing.
So, listen, call Schumer’s office no matter where you live, no matter if you’re registered to vote. Leave a voicemail that says if Senate Dems cave without an ACA premiums fix, you will never vote for or donate to another Senate Democrat as long as he is Leader
