I don’t want sinners to have a sequel or a prequel. I think people need to learn to sit with and enjoy things. Like damn be the same people complaining about no originality.

It’s an easy explanation- 100s of years of the “Black Welfare Queen/lesser intellect/Born to be criminals” propaganda made them think Black people (& Brown) people don’t have the means to make a difference in business. They act as if our $ is a “nice to have” as they cater to white $ by default.
Nobody from Target can explain why they thought ending DEI programs and cutting ties with Black businesses would have no impact on Black consumers spending money in their stores. They knew we'd stop. They simply underestimated the impact of us cutting them off. That's why it's still "no" for me.
