Thats £4.72 per Council Tax paying household.

It could rise to £30m they are paying Newton. Thats £101 per household in Leicestershire.

At close of debate, Lords have only managed to get through one group of amendments to Assisted Dying Bill today, representing 21 amendments in total.

Meanwhile, 82 new amendments were added in last week alone.

Lords can’t debate them as fast as they’re being added - bill faces being talked out.
