I'm not active on Twitter anymore, so I'm rebuilding the #migraine and #MigraineChat community here. A few ways to connect....

The original MigraineChat feed stopped working, so like and pin this one. It works the same.
Goodbye 2025.

You were pretty awful.

Don't get sick between Christmas and New Year's. Your doctor will be out and so will the nurse covering them. Yay! 🥳🎆

Took migraine meds after dinner and fell asleep. Dreamt of my kitty that passed last year. That was bittersweet. 💔

The end of the year is always hard for me but dealing with yet another new symptom is making it even harder. Mental health is garbage.

On high pain days there’s nothing like the relief of making through dinner and knowing all you have left to do is survive until bedtime.

Except I haven’t made dinner yet. So about that….

Possibly of relevance to people with migraine, given we have no real objective diagnostic tests.

Watching the new Knives Out movie and in the scene where the monsignor targets parishioners until they walk out, one is a woman wearing a mask and I have to wonder why they did that.

I'm so bummed that a gift I bought my mom on Etsy, and paid a lot in shipping for, is not what I expected. Paying to send it back will not be worth it. 😔

Sometimes you just need a friend to sit with you while you're (both) sad.
Frog and Toad sat on the porch, feeling sad together.

Hey, so starting in nine days, if you were Disabled before age 46, you can have your own ABLE account (in the U.S.).

And I have this thread on how to go about choosing an ABLE account.
As a Disabled person who has my own ABLE account, I've been asked to say a little bit about it. And honestly, I've started a few times in the past but part of the problem is ABLE accounts vary so much from state to state and part of the problem is, as Dan writes, they're hard to understand.

New in Can We Still Govern?
ABLE is program that allows people with disabilities and their families to minimize the constraints of asset limits and achieve financial independence. But very few people use it.

Why? And what can policymakers do about it?

Searched for this and found it was almost exactly a year ago I asked you all this question.

Last night I stayed up way past my bedtime but felt like I had more (uncaffeinated) energy than usual today. This has happened a few times in the past couple of weeks and I’m not sure what to make of it.
For those with fatigue, do you ever find it's worse if you sleep more?

Context: last night I went to bed later then I have in weeks and it wasn't as bad a struggle to get out of bed this morning. (It's been a major struggle lately.)

There are other variables in play, but I was curious.

Shaping up to be a typical second half. Not that the first was much better. Too many injuries and bad penalties.

You cannot trust anyone. Just saw a FB post (not a friend) where a mom says she was up all night with a sick 🤢 kid and between cleaning up after that kid, baked cookies for the other kid's classroom. Wtf.

People are rightly pleading with her not to send the cookies to school. (Or the kids.)

Telehealth is vital for people with Long COVID. Don’t let it disappear. - The Sick Times
Changes to telehealth policies are more than an inconvenience. For many of us, critical infrastructure is in jeopardy, and we urgently need government policy to protect it.

Revisiting this because I so desperately wanted to nap today but my anxious, half conscious brain was stuck on something and wouldn’t let me. This is endlessly frustrating.
Fun fact: anxiety has ruined my ability to nap.

I'm so tired.
