Is there no statute of limitations on this stuff? First, the Tea Party was more than a decade ago. Second, not all Rs were on board w/ the more extreme elements. There were still some moderates left. 3rd anti-Trumpers emerged & started switching in 2016. Let’s meet people where they are now.
