Why didn’t the pats go for 2? 19-6 is a two TD game, 19-7 is a two TD game, but 19-8 is a TD with a two point conversion and a field goal game. Vrabel has been wildly conservative.

We've all heard "no one is free until everyone is free" etc but I really do think the example of the abolitionists is instructive: they knew that tyranny is rapacious and insatiable, that it spreads, and that violence visited on one group serves to demean and terrorize everyone else.

The absolutely nicest thing you can say about @bardcollege.bsky.social President Leon Botstein is that he has irreparably damaged the institution with his inexcusably horrible judgement, and must resign. The least nice thing you can say is something that I will not say here.

New documents show that @bardcollege.bsky.social president Leon Botstein purchased a $51,615 rare watch; Botstein says he bought the watch on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein. But when Epstein’s accountant demanded that Botstein pay for the watch, Botstein did so. I guess out of the goodness of his heart.

Israel told the UN to stay away from those areas for 9 hours while it kills all plant life. This is a war crime, and Israel is so comfortable committing war crimes that they announce them in advance.
Israel spraying pesticide (that are banned in the EU) over south Lebanon as part of its ongoing campaign of ecocide. The goal is simple: to make sure that life itself is rendered impossible.

This remains rarely reported in the news despite them doing so for years.

Sounds a bit more than just a casual visit.
Bard College President Leon Botstein appears in the Epstein files more than 2,500 times, including arranging travel to Epstein’s island, hosting a visit with “girls” to campus and telling the child sex predator, “I miss you.”

It occurs to me that Leon Botstein is good at cultivating exactly the kind of ego gratification that Epstein sought out: an appearance of worldly, old-money educatedness with none of the demands or rigor of actual substance.

If you don’t want to get booed by the whole world at the Olympics, don’t bring fascism to a democratic country
Vice President JD Vance gets roundly booed at the opening ceremony of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympics. "Those are a lot of boos for him, whistling jeering," says the presenter. US athletes receive a warm welcome from fans, though.
