I hope so much that someone in Australia is looking to what America is doing to Ukraine and paying attention. Clearly if we need the alliance they will do the full Munich agreement with us, get us to sign over as many minerals as possible and then be very upset if we are insufficiently grateful.

North Korea has nuclear weapons and is safe. Iraq did not - and was illegally invaded. Ukraine had them and gave them up on the promise we would protect its borders. It was invaded. Iran does not have them and is now subject to massive attack. Why do I think that nuclear non-proliferation is dead
