Washington National Opera leaving the Kennedy Center is an unfortunate but necessary move. Now would be the time for those who appreciate courage to support the organization.

so the two notable programming moves bari weiss has made at CBS are... airing an interview nobody watched and not airing a 60 Minutes segment that everybody watched. it's like she's satirizing herself

Stop using X
This has always been a Bluesky-first campaign. But as of today, we will no longer be using Twitter. At all.

And I'm calling on other candidates to follow suit.

Bari Weiss, the new editor-in-chief of CBS News, censored a segment of its news magazine 60 Minutes about men who had been deported to an El Salvador prison. Today, it’s popping up online.

Who would have guessed that Bari Weiss is too incompetent to pull off her own shady little stunt? (The answer is everyone.)

This is entirely to please Trump, who has voiced criticism of 60 Minutes under the new owners, who are the definition of rank amatuers, emphasis on rank. This Stephen Miller interview suggestion is idiotic in the context of this story and shows a startling lack of sophistication or smarts.

From beginning to end this is one of the most painfully awkward clips I've ever seen.
Asked by Erika Kirk what her advice to young men is, Nicki Minaj says, “don’t be like [Gavin] Newscum.”

Nicki then refers to Trump as “our handsome, dashing president.”

She then referred to JD Vance as “an assassin,” and remembered whom she was on stage with.

Erika Kirk then assures her it’s fine

Any sober reading of recent reports would suggest that the disastrous slumps in attendance and ticket sales might be most effectively triaged through a wholesale retreat from political controversy. This is not that.
