It’s pretty fucking wild that the DOJ is releasing files that include accusations that the President of the United States raped underage girls, to distract from the fact that the DOJ is covering up murders of US citizens by their own government.

I visited hotels all over Minneapolis, went into back rooms & talked to the staff.

They're afraid.

One told me she resents how her undocumented coworkers spend their days cleaning the rooms of agents who are “hunting down their family members.”

I've repeated this many times across social media platforms and verbally, the most anti-fascist, anti-authoritarian action one can take in these times is to form, join and/or support a labor union in your workplace and/or community.
insisting on calling every mass day of protest or one-day boycott a "general strike" is not the move. it's good to see people rallying around the cause, it matters, but if you want to be part of a large-scale labor action that shuts down the gears of capital, start by unionizing your workplace!!!

the arrest of journalists in minneapolis, including don lemon, is more evidence that the only move the administration knows how to make is to use force, and does not know how to respond when that force is met with defiance and indifference.

If an ICE official can see there being a world without ICE, there's no reason any of us shouldn't be able to do the same thing.

This something I want people to understand. If you don’t get their names, they’re just gone. There’s no arrest record and the snatch-and-grabs can last seconds. People simply disappear and we can’t find out who they are or what happened to them.
They seem to be making a habit of it.

This child was taken 10 days ago, no idea who he is, if he is with his family or even if his family knows what happened to him.

The 5-year-old arrested by ICE In Minnesota is detained at Dilley. We reported on conditions there in the below article.

Parents said the food was contaminated with mold and worms & that children were so under so much stress that they were hitting their own faces & wetting themselves.
Analysis by The Marshall Project of ICE data obtained by the Deportation Data Project found that the Trump administration’s revival of family detention has swept thousands of children into ICE custody. At least 3,800 children under 18, including 20 infants, have been booked since Trump took office.

nothing here in this moment is more illegal and immoral simultaneously than ICE. Any politician that votes to fund it fails a very simple test, to defend society based on the law and the Constitution, and a society based on very basic common morality. it's as a pure a purity test that can exist here

what is this binary crap? walk and chew gum at the same time. talk about how much everything costs now and talk about how ICE is dragging people away and ignoring the 4th amendment. Actually don't just talk about it, end it. This shouldn't be difficult but we now live in the upside down.
People are waving around 50/50 polling on abolish ICE and in the same poll Trump’s is like 30 points under water on affordability. It’s not at all crazy for professional politicians to think there’s a bigger advantage in talking about the latter!
