"For the people of Gaza, these cultural sites weren't just landmarks or of mere archaeological value – they were a collective memory, a livelihood and a heritage."

Look it up. Right to work laws are birthed in racism & must be repealed. #vadems
Per this new poll for @VirginiaHHA by Mason-Dixon, 50% of VA voters support reforming (35%) or repealing (15%) VA's so-called "Right-to-Work" law, while 46% support keeping it as is. Will be interesting to see how the VA Dem "trifecta" handles this issue. bluevirginia.us/2025/12/26-f...

Imagine calling basic constitutional rights like the opportunity to speak in court "cutting corners." Even more alarming, he's saying all this in service of jailing people indiscriminately "by the busload" who are presumed innocent (and only if their families don't have the listed cash payment).
There are moments the mask is removed, and all the lies evaporate. This quote by a District Attorney in California is incredible. He says the volume of shackled poor people brought to court--what he calls the "cattle call"--makes it impossible to consider them as individuals.

PSA: You don’t owe anyone an explanation about the health reasons why you are wearing a mask.

Badgering others about the tools they need to survive is stigmatizing and ableist, and should have no place in decent society.

Terms exist in the United States that do not exist in any developed country on Earth—terms like lunch debt, medical debt, medical bankruptcy, and student debt.

These are not coincidences. They are policy choices.

Of the 252 Venezuelans kidnapped to CECOT:
* Only 3 were convicted of violent/possibly violent crimes.
* Approx 50% had NO criminal history of any kind.
* All were tortured: sleep-deprived, beaten, isolated; &/or violated in MANY ways.
