ICE cut off her wedding ring.

She walked to her neighbor’s house after getting alerts that ICE was nearby. She stood across the street and asked an officer if they were ICE.

EXCL: Ruud van Nistelrooy is firmly on the shortlist to become interim boss if Ruben Amorim is sacked. He knows this squad inside out and previously got the best out of them.

He would immediately switch back to a 4-3-3, with Mainoo involved in a three-man midfield.

this is a thing we're going to ignore for a century but when we finally get around to it, we'll find the massive expansion of our grid would have had far better applications than endless data centers -- namely, electrification of all industry

Electrification + heat recovery = massive efficiency gains. This is the kind of behind-the-scenes innovation that quietly transforms entire sectors.

every mass shooting is a political act, instantiating fascism's dual core: 1) anti-modernity; 2) anti-empathy

each is a declaration that agency & eminence belong to those willing to do violence & that victims are disposable

I actually think it's off base for the descriptor of these angry young white men who think violence is cool and/or funny to be "non-political." They are making rape jokes and saying racist things and wanting to sow chaos. That's literally the Alex Jones, Steve Bannon playbook.

Surprise! Not the left, or even MAGA. Another white kid who spent countless hours online and "was an edgelord who wanted someone to get blamed … to rile people up.”
