Hooray, Hennepin Avenue South is now reopen!
In celebration of its reopening, as per order from the city, bus lanes will not be enforced until further notice due to extremely high parking demands from suburbanites.
We hope Route 2, 6, 17, 114, and future E Line riders will enjoy this change!

Thanks to the added flexibility, speed, comfortability, and reliability of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), the METRO Blue and Green LRT Lines will be upgraded to BRT.
Buses will continue to use light rail tracks and right of way.
Changes take effect on February 30th, 2025.

We don't need light rail because nobody uses the light rail, it's true! (I never rode light rail before)
It would be easier to believe that anti-Northstar politicians really cared about efficient use of transit money if they didn't constantly attack light rail which by every metric is the most efficient and successful method of transportation we have.

Service changes take effect February 29th, 2025.
Infrastructure and trains will be left to rot. Tax payer money & fed funding will be sent into the oblivion.
