Moe mai rā e kuia. So sad to hear the passing of whaea Robyn Kahukiwa. Her art has adorned the places I’ve lived since I was young. She’s my fave artist. 💗 ka aroha ki te whānau.

Ka hiamo au ki huihui! So excited to be presenting in a few weeks at #INIHKD #RIEL conference. I’m presenting on Kaupapa Māori music and healing intergenerational trauma. I’ll kōrero about my time at the Yale archives and my fellowship too.

Hoki mai ki Aotearoa. I returned home and had probably one of the best overseas holidays of my life. 💗 however I greatly missed my dogs. Getting ready to go to Yale soon for a short term fellowship. Excited and nervous for the homesickness that will plague me 🤣
