Booking a driving test in the UK right now is like the final boss of a dark souls game.
My first games job was paid so poorly, and I wasn't provided with the tech required to do the job. I couldn't afford to move, so my parents let me stay. I spent the majority of my first paychecks on health because of burnout. This industry is not accessible without some level of privilege.
The UK games industry has had a huge class problem since its inception. Private school kids with generational wealth were first through the door and overwhelmingly hired people from similar backgrounds. www.bbc.com/news/article...

I finally finished mario wonder. I'd left it at the last few levels for a while because I was sad to be finishing it. But I'm so happy I did because the final levels gave me some good laughs. Also, the interactive credits are very cool.
