Remember jury nullification if you are told to serve. It is a seldom used, yet powerful tool that only jurors have. If a law is unjust, you have the right to nullify it as a jury. This will likely become more common before Trump shuts the courts down altogether.

This is a pretty important point!
The correct way to connect the authoritarian presence in LA and the Big Beautiful Bill is that the bill gives the government the resources to do this in dozens of cities at once. So if you don't like what's happening in LA, it's coming to your town if the bill passes.
