It’s amazing how this concept can be seen in play, in every sub-culture, in every community and always within the newest members. Look for the people who are “experts” after only a short time in the field. They are often the ones preaching to everyone else.

Graphic novels, comics and audio books are “real” reading.
So, I have a superstition/metaphysical belief that to write, make art, music, any creative endeavor really… you have to give a bit of life force to infuse it with life. Which is why I’m so exhausted after a weekend of extreme focus.
…Or it could just be neurodiverse burnout. 😆

Many #writers get stuck because they mentally treat their #roughdraft like a more finished draft. Let go of that. It’s called a ROUGH draft for a reason. Give yourself permission to write poorly, explore the story, go down rabbit holes. There will be time to perfect the story later.

Many #writers get stuck because they mentally treat their #roughdraft like a more finished draft. Let go of that. It’s called a ROUGH draft for a reason. Give yourself permission to write poorly, explore the story, go down rabbit holes. There will be time to perfect the story later.
