I think this concept is far enough along to move into Photoshop - I’ll scan this art and draw over it, but you risk preserving mistakes as well as strengths. Other challenges will surface once I apply a font - I can cheat however I like here, but the next step will be less forgiving! #drawingsky

As you can see, I’m pretty happy with the alien, as I’m starting to refine that part. Still feeling out Buzz’s pose, but I like how his right leg is coming along! #drawingsky

I looked at some online reference, and decided to try staging things from the opposite side of the backboard. The alien’s looking good, but I’m still struggling with Buzz’s pose and proportions. He’s a chunky toy, so sometimes posing him can be tricky (the computer model’s no different)! #drawingsky

This time, I’m starting early - and I’m not accepting the first thing that comes out of my Sharpie. This first stab didn’t feel right: If I’m going to cheat and allow the Pizza Planet Alien to fly, then Buzz should be able to! #drawingsky
