A while back, I mentioned I was writing a Masters thesis on the use of social media in pro wrestling.
That has evolved. Into a book for beginning independent wrestlers to create / maintain / observe best practices for their digital profiles and grow their careers.

I remember meeting and talking to "Jay Malachi" at the OVW Combine Showcase in 2022. Great spirit and work ethic. The moment he could legally train in KY, he was hustling.
I'm thrilled to see him getting the opportunities he's been getting this year. He's earned it and more. 🤼

"Attracting Casual Fans" in wrestling isn't a myth. It can be done
The misunderstanding is in how is done. Which is,simply...put on a quality show, consistently.
The sizzle is why they may tune in, but they'll keep coming back if the steak is great. And they'll tell others if they're excited.

I have to make it a point to turn my music off for work calls. My "somebody yelling at me" would either be screeching (black metal), growing (death metal) or...literal yelling (hardcore / metal core / etc)
Work call, forget to turn off music.
Coworker: Is that... do you have music on?
Me: Oh, yeah forgot to pause it sorry.
