Opinion | An assault weapons ban is Minnesota’s constitutional and necessary next step

I mean, can confirm there are many intelligent, feisty, beautiful single women at Democratic canvassing events ☺️💙
The solution to the male loneliness epidemic is attending a local Democratic Party canvassing event.
WOW. 81% of women 18-29 voted for Mamdani, 80% for Sherril, and 78% for Spanberger.

Gen Z women aren't playing around.

And by adopting a new red flag law, Mainers took a meaningful step to prevent gun violence. This measure will give families, courts, and law enforcement the tools they need to intervene when someone poses a serious risk to themselves or others—while preserving the rights of responsible gun owners.

Minnesota is still mourning Fletcher and Harper. And praying for Lydia and kids who laid their bodies on other kids
to protect them from bullets two weeks ago. And crying because friends Melissa and Mark Hortman are gone. There is nothing I can say about yesterday other than what Ruth said.
For the past six years I have led a state gun violence prevention organization. My response to today’s gun violence can be summed up as follows:

I want everyone to be safe from gun violence.

And I want everyone to want that for everyone else.

Hey look, here is a proposed gun regulation I think is unconstitutional and morally wrong.
This move by the Trump administration is an overtly discriminatory civil rights violation. Trans people have the same legal rights as other Americans — end of story. There are lots of good reasons to keep certain people from owning guns. Being trans isn't one of them. https://cnn.it/4niJnxG
