Nasturtium flowers catching my eye. I have heaps of orange, yellow and orange-yellow mixture but the red ones are pretty rare.

I'm reading my class writing snapshots as part of confirmation of their end of year assessments. I've just started the 4th of 23. I have to share the first sentence - I think it's terrific!

"Shattered memories swirl like a hurricane."

10yo writing. What do you think??

Part 1
Apologies for another lengthy post, but I am still reeling from yesterday's decision.

The decision to remove the requirement for school boards to give voice to Te Tiriti is a LOT more than an attack on the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and our commitment to bilingualism.

I am so pleased I saw this and felt curious enough to click for a view.

Definitely a goodie 👍

A mental health support service says it will have to reduce its operations if it cannot plug a $2 million shortfall.

Lifeline has been trying to get a meeting with the Minister for the past year to no avail. There's money for landlords, tobacco companies, and dodgy guys like Mike King, but when it comes to saving lives this government doesn't give a fuck #nzpol

Right when we're all gonna need a Lifeline the most...

At least the people to blame for Lifeline having their funding cut are the same people who are likely to make us ring.

Let's make it so less people need a Lifeline and enroll to vote if you haven't already.

You give me hope that politics can be turned around still. From Canada I hope our politicians take note that a campaign like yours can win. I hope you can succeed is doing what you want to do for your city.

Would you think this an odd comment from someone in this position? #NZPol
When I heard Dr Nick Chamberlain on #RNZ saying that the measles vaccine is not like Covid, it's a scientifically proven vaccine... I pulled over to see what his role is...

Wow, that's a strange comment to hear from the Health NZ National Director.

My cartoon in www.thepost.co.nz/nz-news/3502...

We all knew Luxon had it in his wheel house but then Seymour & Winnie... well they've tossed their 'freedom' & 'libertarian' ways to the side.

With an ease that suggested they never cared about freedom or the individual in the first place.
