It is part of my job description as a 52-year-old man to not really know that much about Bad Bunny. That said, the predictable, deranged fury he seems to have elicited from Trump makes him very ok in my book. I would be more than happy to buy him a sandwich and a packet of Monster Munch 👊

Did you know you could buy a digital copy of my book 'Weird Field World'?

It's a mix of world building, fiction, maps, illustrations, detailing a future where earth receives messages from the stars, which turn out to be instructions for building spaceships.

Bezos burning the Washington post to the ground is as firm a reason for the continued bbc licence as ever there was. Eventually everything that can be owned by a billionaire will be owned by a billionaire and at that point its future will be determined by the whims of a man making 166k per minute.

It’s not about length, I think, it’s about pace. The metronome in your head that’s set ticking by the opening scenes.

Filmmakers now make longer movies, but their pacing sense was learned on shorter ones. Plus they’re encouraged to start with a BANG and get your attention.

The tempo is wrong.
Often see good films that outstay their welcome by 20 mins. Cut 20 mins & they'd be approx 90 min films. Why is 90 mins the ideal length for (most, obv not all) films? Is it because I grew up with 90 min films & this has conditioned my brain to accept it as the ideal length, or it gets antsy?

Brexit is officially six years old today. Like many six-year-olds, it’s selfish, irrational, destructive and incapable of clearing up the mess it’s made.
