a major problem with bluesky is that i can offhandedly remark "i hate drawing, its too hard" and then a sweet old lady will gently encourage me and kindly point me to some useful resources to get started drawing and i dont know what to do with myself

Many people think that as you get older, you care less about politics. But it’s not true.

support your local libraries, folks! they are one of the last publicly funded spaces that we should be utilizing their resources for as much as possible. you can also connect with them about adding books, for instance. all libraries have different policies but there's an array of selection for us.
I'm usually not the type of person who wishes ill on others, but I hope people who read pirated books (especially ones who tell their friends where to get them!) get a device-destroying virus. ✌️
