I would like to be “basically unemployed” at that pay-scale, but, let’s face it, with few exceptions, usually Democrats (Gore, Biden, Harris), most VPs don’t get much of a portfolio. Worst job in government. Perfect for useless men.

Capitulating to Trump on gender affirming care is not risk free. It violates state and federal law to deny access to this care and providers should be on notice they are legally liable if they unlawfully deny care.

The Rob Reiner film that I always stop to watch when it shows up on TV is The American President and I have barely seen it mentioned at all since the news of the Reiners’ murder hit social media Sunday afternoon. He had an amazing body of work. RIP.

I think it is important to remember that not-quite-40-years-ago in its annual report WB declared war on creators by saying they intended to be one of the 4 or 5 companies that remained after gathering up copyrights & IP in the foreseen vertical integration scramble. So, this is most ironic.
Forty years ago, 90% of media outlets were spread across 50 companies.
Now, just 5 companies control 90% of the media market.
